Kathy has finally accepted that she is an artist. Trained as a biologist, her employer assigned her illustration projects. While working as a elementary school teacher, she found herself teaching art to several grades when her peers recognized her abilities. She didn’t know what they were talking about until she screwed up her courage and took a painting class. She finally figured it out. Her husband came home to see her completely absorbed and surrounded by brushes, jars, paint tubes, etc…She had been like this for hours and only looked up long enough to declare, “I was born to do this.” She’s been doing it now for a dozen or so years and has no plans to stop. She paints everyday kinds of things and people because that’s what she likes best.
